Growing up in the Brooklyn housing projects, I learned early that who stands beside you can change everything.
I saw violence. I saw loss. But I also saw possibility—thanks to my father who told me something at age 16 that would change my life forever:
We were all given the problems we were supposed to be given, so we could face them, overcome them, and that's how we become the person we're supposed to be."
That wisdom led me to college, where I discovered the transformative power of being truly seen. My mentors, my best friend, my business partners, and the woman who would become my wife—each relationship showed me who I could become, inspiring me to reach even higher.
This focus on growth is what continues to fuel my work today.
After immersing myself in Adult Development Theory with one of the world’s leading theorists, I dedicated my life to helping leaders unlock this same potential in their teams. Today, I take complex psychological models and make them practical through my ALIGN framework, showing organizations how to bridge communication gaps and transform how teams move together through uncertainty and change.
